Sunday May 29th. For North Shore Sunday we spent most of the day at Turtle Beach, appropriately named because there are a whole lot of giant sea turtles. They are giant because they sit in the sun all day at the beach eating the sea weed in the shallow waters. Sea turtles like to eat hair and have little control of their bodies when they are being pummeled by waves, making it quite difficult to stay six feet away from them.

After the beach we got lunch. Just a as we were finishing up Joey got off of work and met us to get shave ice at his favorite place, Aoki's. Joey was raised on the North Shore so he knows what he likes in shave ice. Aoki's is where we met Joey two and a half years ago.
